MEET THE OWNER
A Childhood Dream. An American Dream.
My interest in construction began long before CM Remodeling Group existed. As a child, I dreamed of one day building my own home. For years, I imagined becoming an engineer or architect, but over time I realized I didn't simply want to design buildings—I wanted to understand how they were built and be part of bringing them to life.
In 2022, my wife and I moved from Florida to North Carolina, and I started the company under the name CM Painting Group. Painting was where the business began, but my vision was always larger. I continued learning other trades, studying construction, and gaining experience while taking on only the work I was qualified to perform.
The beginning was not easy. Starting over in a new state meant learning a new market, rebuilding financially, and understanding what it would take to create the type of company I had envisioned. For a period of time, I returned to full-time employment while continuing to work, learn, save, and prepare for the future of the business.
We would not take shortcuts to grow.
I believed that if a project required a contractor's license, the right thing to do was to become properly licensed before accepting that responsibility. Growth mattered, but never more than honesty, responsibility, or the trust of a client.
On March 19, 2025, the company officially became CM Remodeling Group, reflecting a vision that had grown beyond painting and toward remodeling and construction.
Becoming a licensed Building Contractor in North Carolina represents much more to me than a professional achievement. It is the fulfillment of a childhood dream and, in many ways, my American Dream.
OUR STORY
A Steady Journey. Built the Right Way.
From our beginnings in painting to becoming a licensed building contractor, every step has been
part of a bigger purpose—to build a company known for integrity, hard work, and a commitment
to doing things the right way.
OUR STANDARD
Built with Standards. Not Shortcuts.
This is more than a slogan. It reflects the way my wife and I have worked to build our life, the way I chose to build this company, and the standard we want to bring to every project entrusted to us.
WHAT WE DO
Residential & Commercial Construction.
CM Remodeling Group serves homeowners, businesses, and property owners throughout Raleigh and surrounding communities. From residential remodeling, outdoor living, and new construction to commercial renovations, build-outs, and new construction, we bring the same commitment to every project: thoughtful planning, clear communication, professional oversight, and quality construction.
LICENSED & ACCOUNTABLE
NC LIMITED BUILDING CONTRACTOR · LICENSE L.110089
Our license represents more than permission to perform construction work. It represents the responsibility to understand the work we accept, coordinate projects professionally, follow applicable requirements, and protect the trust our clients place in us.
LOOKING FORWARD
Building More Than Projects.
CM Remodeling Group continues to grow, but our goal is not simply to become a larger construction company.
We want to build a company known for transparency, hard work, clear communication, quality craftsmanship, and the willingness to do things correctly—even when the right way is not the easiest way.
When a project is complete, we want our clients to remember CM Remodeling Group as a company that was honest with them, worked hard for them, communicated clearly, and treated their project with the care and responsibility it deserved.
